The site and its advertising partners do not offer services for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or another purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The resource points visitors toward Thurston County and Washington criminal-record offices. It is neither a private investigation service nor a consumer reporting agency.
1. What This Website Is
This is a private reference site with no government connection. It does not store official criminal records, retrieve a file, perform an official check, or submit documents for a visitor.
Its role is to identify record custodians, including the Thurston County Sheriff's records section, County Clerk case resources, District Court records service, Washington State Patrol, and Washington Sex Offender Public Registry, and to provide access to outside research tools.
2. Rules for Using This Site
By using the website, a visitor agrees not to:
- Use bots, scrapers, or other automated collection tools on the pages
- Interfere with performance or another visitor's access
- Attempt unauthorized entry into any system or account
- Use information to stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten a person

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination
No one may use information found here or through a linked tool to stalk, threaten, intimidate, harass, or discriminate against another person. Misuse may also be criminal. The rule is especially important for Washington Sex Offender Public Registry data. RCW 4.24.550 permits risk-based community notice for public safety, not vigilante acts, employment blacklisting, or housing discrimination. WASPC warns that threats, vandalism, or violence against a listed person, family member, or employer may lead to prosecution.
4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not prepare credit reports, background checks, or consumer reports. Our advertising partners also do not offer linked services for screening applicants, assessing rental requests, setting insurance rates, or judging credit. Information from the site or a linked tool must not be used to:
- Decide whether to hire or fire someone
- Screen potential renters or housing applicants
- Judge creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
- Determine who qualifies for licenses, permits, or government programs
- Do anything else that falls under FCRA rules
A check for an FCRA-governed purpose must come from a lawful, FCRA-compliant provider. Washington State Patrol supplies official state criminal-history products, but the requester remains responsible for using the correct authorized process.

Content is not legal advice. General information about Thurston County records cannot determine how a warrant, charge, conviction, sealing rule, or vacation statute applies to a specific matter. Obtain advice from a licensed Washington attorney.

Unless otherwise identified, the text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Thurston County Criminal History or its content partners. Written permission is required before copying, distributing, modifying, or creating derivative work from that material.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for harm or damages arising from use of the website, including reliance on information found here or through a linked service.
10. Indemnification
A visitor agrees to defend and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or legal actions caused by that visitor's use of the site or breach of these terms, including related legal fees and costs.
11. Governing Law
Washington law governs these terms. Any dispute arising from use of the website must be brought in a court located in Washington, subject to any controlling jurisdictional rule. The Washington Consumer Protection Act, chapter 19.86 RCW, applies where its legal requirements are met.
The Washington Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, governs public agencies, not this private site. Washington's Criminal Records Privacy Act, chapter 10.97 RCW, also distinguishes unrestricted conviction dissemination from limited nonconviction information. Those statutes do not make content here an official record.
12. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version takes effect when it is posted on this page.
13. Cutting Off Access
Access may be restricted or terminated at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.
14. Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected language will be adjusted only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
